Job Description
Working in a permanent, full-time role, we are hiring for a Geotechnical Estimator to join our office-based team at our depot in Cleland.
The role of the successful candidate will primarily be to support our team in preparing budget estimates, quotes and tenders for new project opportunities.
The successful candidate will have a proactive approach, a willingness to learn and be able to quickly understand each client’s specific requirements.
Knowledge of the drilling industry and/or geology would an advantage but is not strictly necessary and the successful candidate can be provided with the necessary training.
The role will be based full-time in our office in Cleland, with very occasional travel to our various operating sites around the Scottish central belt.
Regular working (office) hours: 8:30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Ideal candidates will be experienced as rotary lead drillers or foreman rotary drillers and qualified as such.
Regular projects will include ground investigations, water wells and geothermal with techniques for rotary open-hole, rotary core and borehole installations to be deployed to a high standard.
Suitable candidates will ideally have recent relevant experience in the drilling industry.
Additional requirements:
Relevant qualifications include: CSCS, NVQ, CPCS, NRSWA, Manual Handling, First Aid. Training can be provided to suitable candidates.
An immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Ideal candidates would be experienced as land drilling assistants or trainee lead drillers and qualified as such.
Regular projects will include ground investigations, water wells and geothermal. The Assistant Driller will be expected to work with the Lead Driller to ensure techniques for rotary open-hole, rotary core and borehole installations are deployed to a high standard.
Suitable candidates will ideally have some relevant experience in the drilling industry.

The Plant Fitter will work primarily from our base in Cleland with opportunities to travel to sites in some fantastic locations across the Central Belt and wider Scotland.
The role with primarily entail servicing, maintenance, upgrades and repairs to our fleet of drilling rigs, auxiliary vehicles and light commercial vehicles.
Candidates should be experienced as a plant fitter with knowledge of key areas such as hydraulics, air compressors, welding and so on.
The role offers a variety with opportunities for further learning and training.
